You can't see all the sweat and salt on me but tonight was great-$20 got us pool, got tub, laundry, ohh and a shower. Maybe tomorrow we make it out of Montana! But then again I've said that to myself a couple of times.
I can tell tomorrow will be great!

I also noticed the discrepancy, so e-mailed Kristi to ask about that. She talks to Mac every evening when he is in an area where cell phones work. I thought maybe they hitch- hiked! No reply from Kristi yet.
Just got txt from Mac. He is in Wolf Point, MT. He may have been playing around with routes to Mason City, Iowa and closed the program with that on it. He knows about it, but he's fine. He's trying to make some ground today so may not spend time looking at phone. He's pretty much staying on hwy 2 trying to make it to Stanley, ND or even Minot, ND...we'll see.
Congratulations on entering the plain states! Came across your blog via the print-out version @ the West Seattle Y. This is cool stuff -- when you get a chance, I'd love to hear about the (lack) of gear you're carrying (a pack list?). Also, what's the daily eating look like? If you need a place to stay in Chicago, where I'm from, I can arrange that for both of you, having done a Sea-SanFran bike tour. Are you guys camping or doing the credit-card touring thing (hotels every night)? Impressive lack of panniers!
