Well, Minneapolis is great - I had a great dinner at pancho villa's w/ 2 for one drinks. All I can tell you is that I walked in thirsty-woke up completely rested. Took shower in a real bathroom with clothes on and I'm now enjoying a place called the Bad Waitress - with the largest pancakes a person could want.
Today is a casual ride southeast I,m actually going to get out of town in attempt to stear clear of the city with it's multiple places I could eat/ hang out at all day long.

Mac - you are going to get a post from Monica Elenbaas (formerly of Seattle YMCA). She and her husband, Jamie have a spot on their couch in Chicago, Illinois for you. I think they are close to Wrigley Field.
Her contact info is...cell: 425-830-1711, email: elenbaas1960@rcn.com
hope it works out - keep pedalling!

Actually, it's a Murphy bed in a guest room, and Josh didn't mention we're fabulous cooks on top of everything else. When do you expect to be cruising through? We can also recommend bike routes as we have picked up the cruising bike bug here in the flatlands.

looks like you are catching up on eating. you should be able to travel 200 miles today with all that new energy-or less than 100 from all the food. which ever-enjoy. hope all is going well for you.

You are doing better than we are getting connections--No Wi-fi in this upscale hotel. So we hiked all over in this rainy city to find a MCDonalds.
So happy to see that you are about to cross the Mississippi River. GO, go,and enjoy yourself.
Hopefully, we can cheer you on from our next stop.

Love yah M&D
